Michigan truly is a unique state with its two peninsulas, beautiful beaches, home of the Great Lakes, numerous universities, and ten million people. While our past has been colorful and bright, our future has all the ingredients for being even more spectacular and dramatic. Climate change will certainly bring us many different surprises. This presentation will be highly interactive and will involve the audience. Come learn about our Great Lakes State and the many key elements that make Michigan “unique.”

About the Presenter: Dr. Bukowski has been an educator for more than 45 years, beginning as a middle school and high school social studies teacher. Later he moved up to counselor, principal, and then to college faculty, instructing teacher education and history. He has M.A. degrees in history and counseling and a doctoral degree in organizational studies. Bukowski has also taught several senior courses as well as driver safety and is an insightful presenter for MORE.
